Building Plans that Work for You
Make Sure Your Plan Changes With Your Life, Your Assets, and the Law
Over time, your assets, your family, the law, and your life will change. At many estate planning law firms, the relationship ends when you sign your documents. We want you to understand the importance of working with a firm, that will support you so your plan grows with you as life changes. We encourage you to have your plan reviewed every 3-5 years or whenever there is a major life change such as a birth, death, divorce, or major purchase.
All of these and many more life events should be considered so your plan works when your family needs it the most. If your plan is not properly updated over time, your documents become less effective. The costs of failing to update are often far greater than keeping your plan current.
